I’m currently partnered with a highly respected and stable property consultancy in Preston that’s looking to appoint a Associate Partner or Partner-Level Chartered Building Surveyor to help lead their growing team. This is a rare opportunity for a commercially focused, senior-level surveyor who’s seeking a clear pathway to Equity Partnership.
You\’ll play a central role in both project delivery and business leadership—managing a talented team, driving client relationships, and helping shape the future of the firm. The Role:
- Deliver the full range of commercial building surveying services across a broad client base
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team including surveyors, technicians, and sub-consultants
- Oversee delivery of long-standing frameworks and high-quality one-off instructions
- Act as client lead across multiple sectors including education, commercial, and industrial
- Contribute to wider business operations including finance, marketing, and strategic planning
- Support growth through existing client development and new business generation
What We’re Looking For:
- MRICS or FRICS qualified
- Strong experience in the commercial/private sector, ideally across multiple sectors
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and deliver complex programmes
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations and the Building Safety Act is essential
- Working knowledge of BIM is advantageous
- Comfortable using key tools such as NBS, AutoCAD, and SAGE
- Confident, business-minded, and capable of contributing to the firm’s long-term growth
- Full UK driving license required
