Turner Property Recruitment are working on an exciting opportunity which has arisen for a Partner Building Surveyor to lead and develop an additional Building Surveying team within a growing Liverpool office, supported by an established and well-regarded multi-disciplinary consultancy. This role is ideal for an ambitious Associate / Senior Associate or existing Partner looking to step into a key leadership position with genuine autonomy, influence, and long-term progression, while remaining actively involved in project delivery.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in the growth of the Liverpool office, leading both the strategic and operational development of the Building Surveying function. The position combines team leadership, business development, and hands-on surveying work across a diverse range of sectors. Projects span public buildings and estates, residential and housing, education, healthcare, commercial, retail, defence, and insurance, providing a varied and stable workload.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and delivering Building Surveying instructions
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Driving business development and winning new work
- Financial forecasting and business planning
- Recruiting, managing, and mentoring surveyors at all levels
- Carrying out technical reviews to ensure quality and consistency of service

- MRICS qualified
- Proven consultancy experience within the North West market
- Commercially minded with a strong appetite for business development
- Confident managing your own workload and leading others
- Strong people management and mentoring capability
- Excellent all-round technical Building Surveying knowledge
- Professional, personable, and confident in client-facing environments
