The Opportunity
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Associate Director, Director, or senior Project Management professional who enjoys building relationships, winning work, and shaping business strategy. You will become a key figure within the leadership team, responsible for developing new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and increasing the consultancy's presence across both public and private sector markets. While a strong technical understanding of project management consultancy is important, this is fundamentally a client-facing, growth-focused position where your ability to generate opportunities and convert them into revenue will be the primary measure of success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with the consultancy's growth objectives.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new project management opportunities across target sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, investors, occupiers, contractors, and public sector clients.
- Lead client engagement activities, networking initiatives, and strategic account management.
- Prepare and contribute to winning bids, proposals, presentations, and tender submissions.
- Work closely with senior leadership to identify market opportunities and growth areas.
- Promote the consultancy's services across regional and national markets.
- Support the development and mentoring of project management teams as the business grows.
