Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering both pre and post contract project management services
- Leading project meetings and providing clear technical and commercial advice
- Producing programmes, risk registers and project reports for client presentations
- Managing multidisciplinary design teams
- Supporting procurement activities and contract documentation
- Overseeing contract administration, site visits, progress reporting, snagging and defect management
- Ensuring deadlines are met and quality of service is consistently high
- Identifying and supporting future business opportunities with existing clients
Essential Experience:
- Proven track record managing high value projects ranging from £100k to £5m
- Strong understanding of NEC, ICC and JCT construction contracts
- Knowledge of procurement routes for construction projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants and colleagues
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- High level of computer literacy
- Ability to work proactively and independently while delivering high quality outcomes
- Appreciation of appointment documents and the scope of services required
Desirable Experience:
- NEC4 accreditation or strong experience with the NEC contract suite
- Understanding of how professional fees are structured
- RICS accredited or working towards a relevant professional qualification
- Experienced delivering excellent client service
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Experience working with public sector clients
