Turner Property Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy to appoint a talented Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to join their growing Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded business delivering specialist services across building surveying, project management, cost consultancy, and fire safety. The organisation has built a strong reputation working on complex, high-risk buildings across residential, mixed-use, and education sectors, including student accommodation.
The Opportunity
This role offers a diverse workload across both project delivery and professional advisory services, with a strong emphasis on managing and leading projects. You will be responsible for:
- Acting as Contract Administrator, Lead Consultant, or Project Manager across multiple schemes
- Delivering projects typically ranging from £500k to £6m
- Leading project teams and ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion
- Undertaking core building surveying duties including:
- Defect diagnosis
- Planned maintenance programmes
- Landlord & tenant matters
- Reinstatement cost assessments
- Party wall matters
- General professional advice
- External refurbishment and façade remediation
- Internal common parts upgrades
- Private residential refurbishments
About You
We’re keen to speak with individuals who are:
- Experienced Building Surveyors or Quantity Surveyors with strong project delivery exposure
- Highly competent in the JCT suite of contracts (essential)
- Familiar with NEC contracts (desirable)
- Confident leading teams and managing stakeholders
- Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
