Turner Property Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading international real estate consultancy to appoint an Associate Director/Director level Building Surveyor with a strong dilapidations focus. This is a key senior hire, offering the opportunity to take a leading role in an established and highly respected building consultancy team, with a strong pipeline of commercial instructions across the UK.
The Opportunity
This position is ideal for an experienced Building Surveyor specialising in dilapidations who is looking to step into (or further develop within) a senior leadership role. You will:
- Lead on dilapidations instructions acting for both landlords and tenants
- Provide strategic advice across lease exit, lease-end negotiations, and dispute resolution
- Manage and develop key client relationships
- Play a pivotal role in winning new business and growing the service line
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to the wider Building Consultancy offering when required
This is a high-profile role with strong visibility internally and externally, and a genuine platform to shape and grow a regional service offering.
About You
We are looking to speak with individuals who:
- Are MRICS qualified (essential)
- Have a strong track record in dilapidations work
- Operate at Associate Director or Director level (or ready to step up)
- Have excellent client-facing and business development skills
- Are commercially astute with the ability to win and retain work
- Enjoy leading projects, clients, and teams
Experience across wider building surveying services (e.g. technical due diligence, contract administration) would be beneficial but is not essential.
