An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious

Associate Director - Building Surveying to join a well-established and growing property consultancy in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

We're looking for an individual with approximately

3-5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) who can bring a broad range of building surveying expertise.

Whether your background is weighted towards project work or professional services, you'll be encouraged to work across a diverse portfolio of instructions and contribute to the continued growth of the team.

The Role

As an Associate Director, you'll play a key role in delivering a wide range of Building Surveying services to an established client base across commercial and mixed-use property.

Alongside technical delivery, you'll help develop junior team members and contribute to the strategic growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a broad range of Building Surveying services, including both project and professional work.
  • Manage client relationships and provide high-quality technical advice.
  • Support the delivery of instructions across multiple service lines as business needs require.
  • Mentor and develop graduate surveyors, supporting their professional progression and day-to-day development.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to help strengthen team capability while enabling continued business growth and client development.
  • Contribute to maintaining the high standards, collaborative culture and reputation of the business.

About You

You'll be a motivated Chartered Building Surveyor who enjoys working across a varied workload and is keen to take on greater responsibility within a growing team.

You'll ideally have

  • MRICS qualification.
  • Approximately 3-5 years' post-qualified experience.
  • Broad Building Surveying experience across both professional and project services.
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across different service lines.
  • A genuine interest in mentoring graduates and helping develop the next generation of surveyors.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to business growth.
