Turner Property Recruitment is working with a well-established, multidiscipline property consultancy to appoint a Salaried Partner Building Surveyor to help lead and grow a Building Surveying team in their Liverpool office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded Building Surveyor who is ready to take the next step in their career.
You will play a key role in developing an additional surveying team, supported by a strong existing business and a collaborative leadership structure. The role offers exposure to a diverse range of sectors including public buildings and estates, residential and housing, education, retail, healthcare, commercial, defence and insurance work.
As a Salaried Partner you will be responsible for both technical delivery and leadership. This includes developing client relationships, driving business growth and playing a central role in shaping the future of the Liverpool office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and delivering building surveying projects
- Developing and maintaining key client relationships
- Business development and winning new work
- Preparing and executing business plans
- Financial forecasting and performance management
- Recruitment, leadership and development of the Building Surveying team
- Mentoring and managing junior surveyors
- Technical reviews to ensure consistently high standards of service
About you
To be successful in this role, you are likely to have:
- MRICS qualification
- Consultancy experience within the North West market
- A strong commercial mindset with enthusiasm for business development
- Proven experience leading teams and managing workloads
- Excellent client facing and communication skills
- Strong all-round technical building surveying knowledge
- An analytical approach with the ability to produce high quality reports and recommendations
- A positive, proactive and solution focused attitude
