Turner Property Recruitment is working with an established and growing project management consultancy to recruit a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join its Leeds team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a respected consultancy delivering high-profile projects across a diverse portfolio of sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes.
The role offers exposure to a varied pipeline of work, including projects within the defence, public sector, commercial, infrastructure and wider built environment sectors.
The Role
As a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of projects while building strong client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to completion.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary design and delivery teams.
- Preparing and managing project programmes, budgets and risk registers.
- Monitoring project performance and reporting on progress.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
- Managing procurement processes and consultant appointments where required.
- Facilitating project meetings and ensuring effective communication between all parties.
- Supporting business development activities and helping to maintain existing client relationships.
- Mentoring junior members of the project management team (Senior Project Manager level).
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who have
- Experience working within a consultancy or client-side project management environment.
- A proven track record of delivering construction or infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.
- Degree qualification in a construction or property-related discipline.
- Working towards or chartered status with a relevant professional body (such as RICS, APM or CIOB) is desirable.
Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to obtain clearance would be highly advantageous due to the nature of some projects, although this is not essential.
