One of the UK\’s most respected property consultancies is looking for a highly-driven Head of Building Surveying to establish and grow their Building Surveying function in Manchester.
With over 180 years of expertise and a network of 10+ offices across the UK, this firm have built a strong reputation for delivering innovative and high-quality services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly-successful and forward-thinking multi-disciplinary consultancy that is experiencing sustained growth and success.
Following recent senior appointments, including a Head of Building Surveying in Bristol and a Head of Project Management in Manchester, they\’re now looking for a dynamic individual to drive growth and strengthen their Building Surveying presence across the North West.
The Role
As Head of Building Surveying, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, developing a high-performing team and enhancing their market presence in the region. This is more than a leadership position – it’s an opportunity to shape and scale a new office offering with the support and backing of an established national brand.
Your focus will include leading and mentoring a team, developing and delivering strategic business plans for growth, building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and overseeing a diverse portfolio of of both project and professional work across multiple sectors.

About You
- Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with significant post-qualification experience
- Proven leadership experience, preferably within a consultancy environment
- Strong track record in business development and client relationship management
- Broad technical expertise (professional and project work). Experience across commercial, residential and mixed-use sectors is beneficial
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial, driven and excited by the challenge of building a regional team
