You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, supporting the delivery of high-quality, sustainable mechanical design solutions while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

The Role

  • Deliver mechanical design as part of a project team from concept through to completion
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and contractors across project teams
  • Attend project and technical meetings
  • Ensure designs meet current legislation and health and safety standards
  • Advise clients on energy use, sustainability and carbon reduction
  • Design building services systems using CAD and BIM tools including Revit
  • Carry out condition surveys and produce technical reports
  • Support installation, commissioning and maintenance strategy development

About You

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience in mechanical design within consultancy or contractor environment
  • Working towards chartered status or keen to progress
  • Proficient in industry software such as IES, Hevacomp, AutoCAD and Revit
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Organised, proactive and keen to develop
