This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an accomplished Quantity Surveying professional with a strong market presence, an extensive industry network, and a demonstrable track record of winning work and developing client relationships.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, leading major client commissions, and expanding the consultancy's Quantity Surveying offering across the Midlands and wider UK market.
The Opportunity
As a Director, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and growing the Quantity Surveying team within the region.
- Identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.
- Leveraging your network to generate revenue and build a sustainable pipeline of work.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with developers, investors, occupiers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Acting as the lead advisor on major commissions across a range of sectors.
- Managing and developing key client accounts to generate repeat business.
- Mentoring and developing a high‑performing team of Quantity Surveyors.
- Contributing to the strategic direction and growth plans of the wider business.
- Raising the profile of the business through networking, industry engagement, and market presence.
About You
- Chartered status (MRICS).
- Extensive consultancy‑side Quantity Surveying experience.
- A proven track record of winning and delivering significant commissions.
- Strong business development credentials and an established industry network, particularly across the Midlands market.
- Experience managing key client relationships and generating repeat business.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire, develop, and grow teams.
- Excellent commercial awareness and strategic thinking capabilities.
