Turner Property Recruitment is looking for a Mid-Level or Chartered Building Surveyor to join a new division within a London-based development team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team currently of five, expanding to seven by Spring or Summer. This is a commercially-focused role, predominantly within the residential sector. You will work on a varied portfolio of residential properties, providing professional advice on construction, maintenance, repair and legal compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out building surveys and condition assessments
- Producing detailed reports on property condition, defects and remedial works
- Diagnosing defects and preparing specifications, schedules of works and cost estimates
- Supporting the development team with professional advice on residential projects
About you:
- Mid-level or Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property construction and defects
- Experience preparing surveys, reports, specifications and cost estimates
- Commercially aware and capable of managing your own workload
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
