Turner Property Recruitment is working with a well-established and growing building consultancy to appoint a Chartered/Senior Building Surveyor to support an expanding workload across London, Oxford, and the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Building Surveyor who enjoys autonomy, flexibility, and a varied project portfolio, while still being part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

You will deliver a broad range of professional and project-led building surveying services across a diverse client base, with a strong focus on the education sector, including schools, academies, and higher education estates. The position is home-based, with travel required across the designated regions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering core professional services including dilapidations, party wall matters, and technical due diligence
  • Managing refurbishment, maintenance, and improvement projects within live education environments
  • Undertaking condition surveys and preparing detailed reports, particularly across educational portfolios
  • Advising clients on estate management, compliance, and long-term asset strategies within the education sector
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting junior team members where appropriate

About You:

  • MRICS qualified (or working towards, for Senior level candidates)
  • Proven experience within a building consultancy environment
  • Experience working within or alongside the education sector is highly desirable
  • Strong technical knowledge across both professional and project work
  • Comfortable working remotely with a proactive and self-sufficient approach
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London, Oxford, and the Midlands
