The Role As a CDM Principal Designer, you will be responsible for providing CDM and health and safety advice throughout the design and construction process. You will work closely with clients, designers and contractors to ensure CDM 2015 requirements are effectively managed across a range of projects. The role will involve: * Acting as Principal Designer in accordance with CDM 2015 * Providing CDM advice to clients and design teams * Reviewing designs and identifying potential health and safety risks * Coordinating and managing pre-construction information * Attending design and project meetings * Supporting clients and project teams throughout the project lifecycle * Managing your own portfolio of projects * Building strong relationships with clients, designers and other project stakeholders Projects The consultancy has a strong portfolio of heritage and conservation projects, alongside a range of public and private sector work. Projects can include historic and listed buildings, government schemes and other high-profile developments, providing the opportunity to work on projects that are more varied and technically interesting than a typical consultancy portfolio.
