A successful multi-disciplinary construction consultancy are looking for a driven Project Manager to join their Rollout, Refurbishment and Maintenance (RRM) team based in Birmingham, supporting a strong national client base. Due to continued growth and increasing demand across large-scale national rollout and refurbishment programmes, this is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

About the Role - Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will become part of an established team, based in Birmingham, consisting of three dedicated teams: Project Management, Cost Consultancy and Rollout, Refurbishment and Maintenance (RRM). This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you’ll deliver multiple projects simultaneously across national multi-site refurbishment and rollout programmes. You will take responsibility for managing sites across the UK, travelling nationwide to oversee delivery and lead strategic works for some of the consultancy’s key national clients. You will be supported by three experienced delivery colleagues, two project coordinators and senior leadership, ensuring strong operational support while maintaining significant autonomy in project delivery.

For the right person, this role offers real autonomy, flexible working (primarily home and site-based), with the chance to manage multiple high-end projects across a diverse range of sectors. The RRM team typically spend around one day per week in the Birmingham office. The environment is dynamic, collaborative and delivery-focused, offering significant exposure and responsibility from day one. Longer-term, the role offers the chance to take ownership of major national client accounts, lead large-scale rollout programmes, develop sector expertise across the hotel, retail and leisure sectors, and progress into senior leadership or Director-level positions.

About You - Project Manager

  • Professional qualifications such as MRICS or MAPM are desirable but not essential
  • Experience within hospitality, retail rollout programmes, hotel refurbishment or retail fit-out frameworks is advantageous
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects or sites simultaneously
  • A genuine interest in multi-site rollout and refurbishment environments
  • Background within construction consultancy or client-side positions
  • Comfortable with regular nationwide travel
  • Highly organised, proactive and capable of working autonomously
  • Confident operating in a hands-on, client-facing position
  • Building Surveyors with strong project experience who are keen to transition into a fast-paced Project Management role are encouraged to apply
