Turner Property Recruitment is partnering with a growing and entrepreneurial construction consultancy to appoint a Divisional Director to lead and develop its new Birmingham office. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager who is ready to take full responsibility for a division, shape a regional presence and play a key role in the strategic growth of the business.
The Role
As Divisional Director, you will lead the Birmingham office and take management responsibility for all Quantity Surveyors across the wider business. This is both an operational and strategic role, combining team leadership, client development and high level project oversight. You will be instrumental in establishing the Birmingham office as a key hub, driving performance, maintaining technical excellence and ensuring commercial success.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing all QS professionals within the business
- Setting strategic direction and driving divisional performance
- Overseeing delivery of cost management and/or project management services
- Ensuring quality, consistency and commercial control across commissions
- Developing and maintaining senior client relationships
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Mentoring and developing senior team members
- Working closely with the board to support national growth plans
About You
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager
- Significant experience operating at Associate Director or Director level
- Strong leadership credentials with experience managing multilevel teams
- Commercially astute with a proven track record of delivering profitable growth
- Confident in business development and work winning
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build and shape a regional office
