Turner Property Recruitment are partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, supporting them in appointing a forward-thinking CDM Principal Designer to join their Midlands team.
This is an ideal role for a CDM Principal Designer who is looking to take the next step of their career and progress within a supportive, award-winning consultancy. The Principal Designer will oversee design risk management processes, ensure compliance with CDM regulations, and collaborate with project teams to mitigate health and safety risks throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in design risk management, regulatory compliance (including CDM 2015 regulations), and an understanding of health and safety standards in construction projects.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination and clear guidance.
- Solid problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to analyse complex project risks and propose solutions.
- Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent, and professional membership (e.g., IOSH, APS, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
