Associate Director Building Surveyor - Nottingham

Position Summary

Turner Property Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded property and construction consultancy to appoint an ambitious Associate Director – Building Surveying for its growing Nottingham office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career with a business that offers genuine progression, a strong project pipeline, and the chance to play a key role in the continued growth of an established Building Surveying team.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, managing client relationships, delivering a diverse range of instructions, and contributing to the strategic development of the building surveying service across the Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of professional and project-led building surveying services.
• Managing key client relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Undertaking a range of building surveying instructions including contract administration, project management, technical due diligence, dilapidations, building pathology, and condition surveys.
• Supporting business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Assisting in the development and mentoring of junior and intermediate surveyors.
• Contributing to team leadership and helping drive the continued success of the Nottingham office.
• Working closely with Directors and senior stakeholders to support wider business objectives.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualified status.
• Significant building surveying experience gained within a consultancy environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across both professional and project work.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality advice.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A desire to take on greater leadership responsibilities and contribute to team growth.
• Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
