Turner Property Recruitment is working with a well established property consultancy to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in London. This opportunity would suit a candidate with around 1 to 2 years of experience, ideally someone who has already started their APC. The role offers the chance to work across a diverse range of sectors including residential, office fit out and retail.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to projects across the full project lifecycle and work closely with senior team members in a collaborative environment. The team itself is small and close knit, providing excellent visibility and hands on project involvement from an early stage. Strong APC support is a key part of the role. The team is led by an experienced assessor who runs the internal APC programme, offering structured guidance and mentorship for candidates working towards chartership.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with cost planning and commercial management of projects
- Support both pre contract and post contract activities
- Work across a range of sectors including residential, retail and office fit out
- Attend project meetings and site visits as required
- Collaborate closely with senior team members on project delivery
Requirements
- Ideally 1 to 2 years of quantity surveying experience
- APC started or an interest in beginning the APC pathway
- Exposure to both pre contract and post contract work is beneficial
- Strong communication and organisational skills

Salary and benefits
£40,000-£50,000
