Senior Building Surveyor - Newcastle
An independent Commercial Property and Chartered Surveying Consultancy are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their growing Building Consultancy team, based in Newcastle.
This is a highly client-facing role, with a strong emphasis on business development, ideal for a proactive and ambitious professional who is keen to play an influential role in the growth of the practice.
About the Role - Senior Building Surveyor
The successful Senior Building Surveyor will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, delivering both professional and project based building surveying services. The role will focus primarily on commercial property, including offices, retail and industrial units, alongside a smaller proportion of residential work.
You’ll become part of a close-knit, collaborative team, allowing for genuine day-to-day collaboration, while also benefiting from the support and expertise of the wider national Building Consultancy team, of around 40.
This role offers clear and structured progression to Associate Partner level, with future opportunities to mentor graduates, provide APC support and training, and play a key role in the continued growth of the Building Consultancy team.
About You - Senior Building Surveyor
- Degree in Building Surveying
- Ideally MRICS or currently working towards
- Previous experience within a consultancy environment
- Both project & professional focused experience
- A genuine interest in business development and client management
- Confident, personable and comfortable in client-facing situations
