Turner Property Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established, multidisciplinary construction consultancy to appoint a Senior Building Surveyor for its growing team in St Austell. The Role As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will take responsibility for delivering a diverse range of surveying and project work, building strong client relationships, and supporting junior team members. This is a varied position offering genuine autonomy, career progression, and exposure to high-quality projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion. Undertake building surveys, condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical reporting across a diverse client base. Act as Employer's Agent and Contract Administrator, managing projects from tender through to final account. Support the growth and development of the Building Surveying team, ensuring consistently high standards of technical delivery and client service. Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice on dilapidations, planned maintenance, party wall matters and wider building consultancy services. Mentor and support junior surveyors while working closely with senior leadership to contribute to the continued growth of the business. About You You’ll be an experienced Building Surveyor with a strong technical background and excellent client-facing skills. You will enjoy managing projects, developing client relationships, and working within a collaborative consultancy environment. Ideally you will have: Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline. MRICS qualification (or working towards chartership). Experience delivering both professional Building Surveying services and project work. Strong knowledge of contract administration and construction projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
