Turner Lovell is recruiting a Substation Project Engineer to support major transmission infrastructure programmes in Scotland.

You will work within the project engineering environment, supporting the engineering delivery of substation infrastructure and working alongside project, engineering and wider delivery teams.

We are looking for

  • Strong experience within substation engineering and project delivery.
  • Experience working on electricity transmission or other major HV infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to coordinate technical activities across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience within a client, consultancy or major contractor environment would be advantageous.

The roles are home based, with occasional travel required for meetings and project activities.

This is an initial 12-month contract, with extension considered likely, paying £750 per day via Umbrella PAYE.

BPSS clearance will be required
