Turner Lovell is supporting a leading infrastructure contractor delivering major power and grid connection projects across the UK.

Due to continued growth and a strong order book, our client is seeking an experienced Senior PM to lead the delivery of complex HV power infrastructure schemes, including substations, grid connections, renewable energy and large-scale energy projects.

You will take overall responsibility for project delivery from early development through to commissioning and handover, ensuring safe, efficient and commercially successful execution.

Key Duties:

  • Lead the delivery of HV/EHV power projects across the full lifecycle.
  • Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact throughout project execution.
  • Oversee programme, cost, risk and resource management to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, consultants and supply chain partners.
  • Drive high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
  • Support commercial activities including contract administration, change management and project reporting.
  • Contribute to project bids, planning activities and future business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience managing high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record delivering substation, transmission, distribution or grid connection projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across engineering, commercial and construction functions.
  • Excellent client-facing, leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience working within NEC contract environments is highly advantageous.
  • Relevant engineering, construction or project management qualification preferred.
  • Knowledge of projects within the utilities, renewable energy or power transmission sectors.
