Scope of Work: A key role within the commercial team delivering across Civil, Mechanical and Electrical services on a landmark renewable energy project in Cork.
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveying professional with experience in delivering across the commercial facets of projects?

Turner Lovell is recruiting a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a leading, highly innovative, multi-national engineering services company in Ireland. This is a brilliant opportunity for the right individual to join a well established, highly regarded business that is experiencing growth through their success in the market. You will be working on site in Charleville, Cork with a hybrid working model available of 1-2 days per week working from home.
With the support or the wider team, your responsibilities will include:
Encouraging and develop a culture of commercial awareness within the team; managing junior staff; while ensuring the site team adheres to group procedures and governance
Preparation of internal commercial reporting and any other reports which may be required.
Preparation of Valuations/Application for payment; preparation of Cost Reports to the Client with contractually compliant supporting documentation.
Preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.
Attending client engagement events for equivalent level customer feedback.
Involvement in Business Improvement Initiatives.
The ideal profile is someone with:
Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics.
Management of Mechanical & Electrical packages and subcontractors.
Estimation of Mechanical & Electrical tenders from first principles.
Experience in the likes of Civils and Electrical Projects, Renewable Energy Projects, or in Cabling Projects, but all backgrounds will be considered.
Experienced in remeasurable works, and FIDIC contracts would be beneficial.
