Turner Lovell are working on a range of vacancies for Senior Authorised Person. We’re looking for experienced Senior Authorised Persons (SAPs) to join a leading organisation delivering critical HV substation construction and network upgrade projects across the UK Power Networks distribution area. You’ll play a key role in the safe delivery of HV/LV electrical engineering works, including substation builds, planned outages, and network reinforcement.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing HV switching schedules using DNO systems
- Isolating and earthing HV apparatus
- Issuing safety documentation (Permits, Sanctions, Limitations)
- Preparing method statements and risk assessments
- Supporting project planning and mentoring junior engineers
- Ensuring compliance with safety rules and HSE legislation
What We’re Looking For:
- SAP authorisation at 11kV, 33kV, or 132kV on a UK DNO network
- Experience in substation construction, HV commissioning, or network maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and outage planning
- HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
