Planning Engineer Location: Glasgow / Perth / Aberdeen - Hybrid Contract: 6 months Rate: £500 - £600 per day via Umbrella PAYE Turner Lovell is recruiting Planning Engineers to work across major HV Transmission capital projects in Scotland. You will develop and maintain construction-focused programs, working with project teams and contractors to provide clear visibility of progress, risks, delays and performance. Key responsibilities: · Develop and maintain detailed programs using Primavera P6. · Review contractor schedules, critical paths, delays and program risks. · Support change, delay analysis and program impacts under NEC contracts. · Monitor progress, performance and earned value. · Work with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure realistic project sequencing. We are looking for: · Planning experience on major construction or infrastructure projects. · Strong Primavera P6 experience - essential. · NEC3 / NEC4 experience - essential. · Good understanding of construction methodology and project delivery. · Transmission or energy experience is highly desirable, although experience in rail, water, defence, utilities or similar infrastructure will also be considered. The role can be based from Glasgow, Perth or Aberdeen, with approximately 50% office / 50% remote working and occasional site travel. This is an initial 6-month contract, paying £500 - £600 per day via Umbrella PAYE.
