Industry: HV Transmission is growing considerably through their delivery of major transmission and distribution projects in the Central Belt of Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the business and its customers.
- Manage multiple and/or major projects safely, competently, and effectively to time and budget.
- Ensure project meets all current legislation HASAWA, NRSWA C.O.S.H.H. etc.
- Ensure teams are working in a safe manner to the correct standard of workmanship.
- Undertake inspections daily/weekly in line with the company processes, report all findings to QSHE department.
- Conduct TBTs which are prepared by the QSHE team, identify potential learning areas for new TBTs to be provided.
- Implement safety rules, instructions, standing orders and procedures.
- Actively monitor teams within your line management responsibility.
- Ensure Point of Work Risk Assessments are carried out daily.
- Ensure that all statutory records, certificates, licenses, notifications and necessary documentation are maintained.
