HV Cable Package Managers (x2 positions) Rate: £550 – £600 per day, outside IR35 Duration: 3 months, ASAP start (potential extension / temp to perm opportunity) Location: East of England OR Scotland (2 positions)Turner Lovell are recruiting for an international engineering & construction organisation who have a strong pipeline of major renewable energy projects across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Package / Project Manager with extensive experience in HV Cables and NEC contracts to join their growing team. The position is for management of a 400kV onshore cable package. In this role you will be involved with the planning, commercial, and onsite installation activities of the HV Cable package. Duties: Cable project work package and team management – to cost, time, and quality Coordination of High Voltage Cable (400kV) installation and the project teams Experience working with and managing interfaces with Client, Senior Management (PM, Bid Manager, Cable Design Manager) and Project teams Acting as an Engineers Representative on subcontractor packages. Ensuring a high standard of Health and Safety is maintained throughout the project duration Stakeholder and subcontractor management Reporting of Monthly Progress Reports to the Project DirectorRequirements: 5 years\’ experience managing HV Cable packages within the T&D industry Electrical Engineering Degree / equivalent Experience as a Project Manager / Package Manager of projects £5m+ in value Project management qualification (e.g., IPMA B) CDM, H&S and legislation and regulation awareness Experience in consenting applications & contracts and claims management Confident using IT and associated equipment / softwareThis is an excellent opportunity to join one of two high-profile projects within the UK.
