Scope of Work: A senior leadership role for a motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager with a rapidly growing contractor delivering a 132kV substation project for a new data center connection.

Turner Lovell is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join a rapidly growing power infrastructure contractor delivering critical projects across the UK's electricity transmission and distribution sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to further develop their skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
As a Senior Project Manager you will:
- Lead the delivery of major power network projects across transmission and distribution infrastructure.
- Take full ownership of project programmes, budgets, resources, and commercial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with utility clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
- Drive project execution whilst ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.
- Lead project teams including engineers, site managers, commercial specialists, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
The ideal profile is someone who has:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale power transmission or distribution projects.
- Strong background within utilities, power networks, substations, overhead lines, or related infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated success managing complex projects with significant budgets and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent commercial awareness with experience managing project profitability and contractual obligations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing client relationships within regulated utility environments.
- Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Project Management qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent would be advantageous.
