We are currently recruiting for an international client and award-winning employer with sites needing coverage across the UK within their portfolio. The ideal candidate will be joining a growing team preparing for expansion within UK. We are looking for Engineer Surveyor who has worked on mobile and mechanical equipment/ apparatus within the renewable energy sector, food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, banking, retail, power and utilities including nuclear, automotive public sector mobile plant emergency services transport and construction. In this role you will be responsible for inspecting a range of mobile machinery, Lift and crane variations, either on large customer sites or you’ll visit a variety of locations within your designated area. Once on site you’ll carry out the duties below ensuring inspections are done to the relevant standards (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR) build good report with customer representatives and follow up with reports in a timely manner. Duties : high quality inspection of site equipment (Lift – MEWP’s, Cranes, FLT’s, OR pressure systems), to ensure compliance with current UK regs (e.g. LOLER & PUWER). To write, and deliver reporting documentation on all inspections undertook for the client To identify any change recommendations to the client, as per UK regs Collaborate with other departments to ensure that inspection activities are integrated into the overall project/site plans Be the point of contact for external clients, offering advice when required To advise / be conscious of Health & Safety whilst on sites, when offering recommendations and providing reports Requirements: 5 years direct experience with a level 3 qualification in mechanical Engineering. 3 years experience with a level 4 qualification in mechanical 3 years working experience, within the UK.
