Turner Lovell is recruiting for a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join one of the UK's leading power infrastructure contractors, delivering major transmission and distribution projects across a long-term electricity framework.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer, Lead Primary Engineer, or Lead Protection & Control Engineer looking to take technical ownership of a portfolio of major HV infrastructure projects.
- Lead the technical delivery of electrical design across a portfolio of HV/EHV infrastructure projects.
- Resolve complex technical issues and support engineering decision-making throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities to achieve programme, quality and commercial objectives.
- Support design assurance, constructability reviews and value engineering initiatives.
- Provide technical support during procurement, construction, commissioning and project handover.
Strong background in Primary Design, Protection & Control or Electrical Design within the UK transmission or distribution sector. Experience leading the electrical design delivery of multiple concurrent power infrastructure projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
