Senior Structures Engineer Location: East Anglia Contract: Permanent Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Structures Engineer to join an established highways and infrastructure team, delivering essential maintenance, renewal and improvement schemes across the UK. You'll play a key role in the delivery of structures maintenance and improvement projects, taking responsibility for technical design, project delivery, resource planning and the coordination of multidisciplinary teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Engineer or highly experienced engineer looking to take on a senior technical and leadership position within a growing infrastructure environment. The role Lead the delivery of structures maintenance and improvement schemes, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements. Undertake technical design checks and provide technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle. Carry out site visits and structures inspections, producing condition assessments and inspection reports. Plan and coordinate engineering resources to meet project and programme requirements. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including external consultants and sub-consultants. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, clients and other stakeholders.
