Turner Lovell are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an £1 billion + turnover EPC Contractor in the electricity and renewable energy sector, who are currently delivering end-to-end services across electricity transmission & distribution, renewable energy, and EV infrastructure.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll support the project team with planning, design and installation activities and will focus on delivering safe, high-quality and sustainable EV projects by installing reliable charging stations and integrating them into the wider energy network.
Key Responsibilities- Support construction managers, designers, planners and electricians with surveys, design, planning and installation activities.
- Manage commercial processes and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear, regular communication.
- Handle client needs, questions and escalations in a professional manner.
- Support systems and processes that maintain a sustainable and commercially viable pipeline of work, aligned with agreed SLAs.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and subcontractors, including SHEQ and Operational teams, to ensure project requirements are met.
- A background in Civils or Utilities and strong NEC experience is essential.
- Evident previous experience from the Senior QS role.
- Experience working with commercial or financial management systems.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, including procurement, coordination and performance oversight.
- Practical understanding of NEC forms of contract.
- Awareness of CDM Regulations and commitment to high standards of health and safety compliance.
