Location: Perth, Scotland - Hybrid
Contract: 12 months
Rate: Β£800 - Β£850 per day via Umbrella PAYE

Turner Lovell is recruiting an experienced Overhead Line Project Engineer to support major transmission infrastructure programmes in Scotland. Working within the Project Engineering team, you will provide technical engineering support across 132kV, 275kV and 400kV overhead line projects, covering the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:
Review contractor and consultant OHL designs, ensuring compliance with specifications and technical standards.
Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines and manage engineering risks and opportunities.
Act as the key point of contact for Overhead Line Engineering across project, commercial, programme and site meetings.
Support engineering governance, quality and CDM requirements throughout project delivery.
Work closely with Engineering and Project Managers to identify and mitigate technical and quality risks.

We are looking for:
Strong experience in overhead line development, design or specification, ideally at 132kV and above.
Experience within a contractor, consultancy or client-side transmission environment.
Technical degree or HND with relevant engineering experience.
Familiarity with PLS-CADD would be advantageous but is not essential.
Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. xiskglj
