Turner Lovell is recruiting a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to join a growing infrastructure and engineering contractor delivering major UK energy and infrastructure schemes. This opportunity sits within a multidisciplinary civils design team supporting a strong secured pipeline of projects across the energy and infrastructure sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the delivery and coordination of civil and structural engineering design packages
  • Producing and reviewing technical designs, calculations, reports and specifications
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary design inputs across infrastructure and energy projects
  • Supporting BIM and digital engineering delivery processes
  • Attending technical workshops, design reviews and client/stakeholder meetings
  • Mentoring junior engineers and supporting technical development within the team
  • Supporting project planning, quality assurance and programme delivery

Ideal background:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong technical design and project coordination capability
  • Experience working on infrastructure, civils, transport, buildings or energy-related projects
  • Knowledge of industry software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
