We are looking for a Sales Planner to take up an instrumental role within a high‑pressured sales team at CNNIC, focusing on Africa and CIS/CEE/SE.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically develop tailored proposals, media schedules, presentations, and supporting documents for specific territories based on client objectives.
  • Oversee campaign management from start to finish, optimizing existing campaigns by brainstorming creative ideas, analysing data, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the numerical upkeep of campaigns, including managing all administrative tasks related to contracting, invoicing, updating forecasts, and tracking payments.
  • Assist in the coordination and management of client needs across markets, ensuring seamless communication between clients, sales reps, and internal teams.
  • Manage and guide the Sales Assistant to ensure all administrative tasks are handled efficiently, supporting the Sales Manager, Account Directors, and Sales team.
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets to monitor the progress of proposals, ensuring timely follow‑ups and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure the smooth running of active campaigns, providing regular updates to clients and reps, and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Stay updated on the competitive landscape, monitoring international networks, print media, and relevant local/regional broadcasters to identify new opportunities.
  • Work with creative and production teams to ensure that all advertising materials are aligned with the media plan and client expectations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in media or advertising, preferably within a sales planning or account management role.
  • Strong understanding of the global media landscape and key industry trends.
  • Exceptional Excel and Powerpoint skills.
  • Ability to guide the team’s sales assistant and be managed by the Director in the region.
  • English language skills are essential; French/Spanish/Portuguese/Italian would be an advantage.

Work Location

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in‑office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
