Working within the water and environmental sectors, you will play a key role in coordinating a busy maintenance team, ensuring projects and planned works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of a field maintenance team.
- Programme and schedule works to ensure efficient delivery and minimise travel time.
- Prepare and issue weekly work packages for maintenance teams.
- Book accommodation and support logistical planning where required.
- Produce quotations and support commercial processes.
- Prepare Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS) and Safe Systems of Work.
- Liaise with clients to provide updates and ensure expectations are met.
- Support with report writing and project documentation.
- Liaise with the accounts department regarding invoicing.
- Check invoices against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure administrative processes are completed effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a coordination, scheduling or administration role.
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to plan and programme work logically and efficiently.
- Understanding of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work.
- Experience liaising with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Experience within the water industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
