Our client is a well-established fabrication business with a global reach providing high quality components to a wide range of industrial sectors. Due to growth, we have the immediate need to recruit someone into the role of estimator.

You will have responsibility for reviewing and defining project requirements from RFQs. You will work closely with the proposals manager to ensure that proposals meet requirements through the provision of accurate and detailed information. The ability to read engineering drawings is essential, as is the ability to liaise across the business in a proactive manner to ensure proposals include scope of work, cost estimates, schedules and project plans. The ability to coordinate and influence to ensure prompt timescales and costings are met is essential.

This role would suit someone who has experience in an engineering environment and is keen to develop a commercial edge to their experience. The ability to coordinate and administrate documentation in a timely and effective manner is also a prerequisite.
