We’re looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Client Relationship Manager to join the North Shields team - someone who enjoys understanding a client’s business, explaining what the numbers mean and helping colleagues do their best work.

  • What’s in it for you
  • Up to £55,000, depending on experience, plus benefits.
  • A genuine four-day working week - an extra day each week for yourself.

  • Career development within an ambitious, growing practice, where you can help improve how the team works.
  • What you’ll bring

ACA or ACCA qualified, with several years’ experience in accountancy practice.

A strong grounding in accounts, management information, VAT and corporation tax.

Experience managing a client portfolio and developing junior staff.

Your role

Reporting to a Client Relationship Director, you’ll combine technical accounting, client relationships and team management.

You’ll get to know the businesses in your portfolio, becoming a trusted contact for clear advice and reliable support.

Alongside delivering high-quality work, you’ll help clients understand their financial position and make informed decisions.

You’ll

  • Manage client relationships, leading regular meetings and discussing business performance.
  • Prepare and review management accounts and information, translating the numbers into useful insights.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax returns, maintaining strong technical standards.
  • Oversee bookkeeping and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Review, support and develop junior colleagues, helping them build capability and confidence.
  • Contribute ideas for improving processes and client service, working closely with the director and wider team.

You’re comfortable leading client meetings, explaining financial information clearly and managing competing deadlines.

You’re also commercially curious: interested in what clients want to achieve and how your advice can help them get there.

Build your next chapter here

An innovative practice. Clients you can make a difference to. A team you can help develop. And a genuine four-day working week, with flexible start and finish times.
