We’re supporting a growing, reputable firm in hiring an Accountant to join their expanding team. This role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to work directly with diverse clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, journals, and adjustments
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and management accounts
- Assist with year-end accounts and financial reports
- Liaise directly with clients, HMRC, and external stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality financial output
- Background as an Accountant in practice or multi-client environment
- Strong experience with Xero or other cloud accounting software
- Solid understanding of VAT, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with client-facing experience
- Ideally AAT qualified / QBE / Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA)
- 4-day working week (if applicable)
