Our PMO Yorkshire Northeast team is expanding its Controls community. We are a close-knit team seeking passionate and ambitious candidates at all professional, senior professional, and managerial levels. With regional growth including new Major Programmes, Projects, and Clients, we seek flexible, mobile Planning, Scheduling, Performance Reporting, and Risk Management professionals to serve our local region. Travel within Yorkshire and the Northeast may be required, depending on the project. In return, you\’ll gain access to diverse sectors such as Power, Water, Rail, Mass Transit, Local Authority, and Shipyards, with opportunities to utilize your expertise, develop professionally, and receive support from our dedicated line managers.
You will be part of our Project Controls team on high-profile infrastructure projects, providing performance reporting and analysis. Your role may involve working within a large team or as the primary contact with clients.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures and performance baselines, establishing progress and cost monitoring methods, producing control reports, and offering performance analysis and recommendations.
Relevant experience in a project controls environment within sectors like Energy, Defence, Rail, Airports, Highways, Water, or Utilities is required. Experience in Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, or PMO is also necessary.
Qualifications include a relevant degree with some experience in project control, experience managing projects or programs, proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI, Microsoft Office, and strong communication and time management skills. Knowledge of scheduling principles, schedule construction, quality assurance, schedule monitoring, and control is essential. Ownership of a positive schedule management culture is expected.
