The predicted salary is between 22000 - 28000 £ per year.

This is a customer-focused sales role based at our branch, centred on building strong relationships, identifying customer needs, and working closely with the wider team to deliver excellent service and drive sales growth.

  • What you’ll be doing
  • Organising and prioritising workload to deal with Customers.
  • Greeting customers and suppliers in branch.
  • Ensuring that telephone calls and emails are answered promptly, courteously and accurately.
  • Serving customers on our trade counters.
  • Responding to customer quote requests promptly and accurately.
  • Seeking potential new business across our trading area, by email, telephone and visits to customers.
  • Raising accurate and comprehensive purchase orders.

  • The ability to form positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Excellent written English and verbal communication skills.
  • An interest in plumbing & heating is desirable; however, experience is not necessary as all training will be given.
  • A full UK driving licence.

You don’t need previous builders’ merchant experience — we’re happy to train the right person.
