We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Yard Operative based at our Horncastle branch. We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for customer service and who is confident to work as part of a team and under their own initiative.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Loading our fleet of delivery vehicles ensuring that all products are safely loaded and secured.
- Ensuring loads are correct against the customers' orders.
- Ensuring delivery is safe to make and respecting customer's property.
- Unloading all palletised deliveries and stock orders.
- Prepare stock for delivery.
- Control movement of stock in and out of the warehouse.
- Provide first class customer service.
- Handle any customer issues on delivery effectively.
Qualifications:
- A willingness to work as part of a team.
- A positive attitude.
- A flexible approach to work.
- Experience and a forklift license are desirable but not essential; training is available for the right person.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time role; hours of work will be 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with 1 hour for lunch) and 7:30am to 12:30pm on 1 in 2 Saturdays.
