This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Ecommerce Assistant based in Greater London. The Ecommerce Assistant will manage day‑to‑day ecommerce operations, assist in order processing, invoicing, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Other responsibilities include liaising with customers, providing tailored support, and contributing to the enhancement of online sales and services.

This hands‑on position requires an organised and detail‑oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. The assistant will support the day‑to‑day management of the website, assist with trading activity, and work closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle day‑to‑day operations of the UK and US Shopify stores
  • Support product launches and merchandising updates, keeping in line with delivery and marketing calendars
  • Responsible for product uploads and maintaining product listings, from titles, descriptions, pricing, images, metafields and tags
  • Handle all content changes, from weekly homepage updates and visual merchandising to creating collections and building pages
  • Assist with development and projects, such as QA ahead of changes to the site, checking links, pages, and UX issues, alongside general site maintenance
  • Assist in coordinating ecommerce shoots, handling communication with partner studios, monitoring deliveries of samples, reviewing and uploading assets upon receipt
  • Assist with weekly and monthly trade and performance reports, highlighting key insights
  • Monitor overall website performance, including conversion rate, average order value, and UX
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an ecommerce role within the retail or fashion industry
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience using Shopify and GA4
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interest in fashion and craftsmanship
  • Strong interest and desire to progress within ecommerce and digital trading
Preferred
  • Understanding or experience with Brightpearl
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing channels
  • Understanding of UX and customer journey principles
  • Proactive and positive approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with data and reporting tools, with a logical and analytical mindset
  • Collaborative team player who is eager to learn and develop
