Position Scope: Working within the Front Office team and acting as the first point of contact for the guest within the hotel, the position of Doorman is an extremely important, challenging and rewarding role. The Doorman is responsible for providing a warm and friendly welcome, escorting our guests to and from the lobby, assisting them with luggage and attending to all guest requests and enquiries as required.

Job Functions:

  • Take requests for Shuttles (transportation for guests within the resort) and action them.
  • Advise guests on the local area (tourism or business locations, sights or events).
  • Greet and welcome guests and direct them to Reception where you are to introduce the guest by name to the Receptionist.
  • Assist both arriving and departing guests with baggage handling.
  • Store guest baggage upon request and assist with the loading and unloading of baggage into and out of automobiles.
  • Valet Park guest's vehicles.

Candidate Specification:

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally.
  • Previous experience in a hotel environment is desired.
  • Requires good communication skills.
