Position Purpose

To effectively and intricately plan all Resort events and off-site functions which includes but is not limited to corporate conferences, weddings, corporate golf days, incentives and social events. To exude professional, efficient, friendly, detailed, and timely service to all internal and external clients and guests. Maximise revenues by ensuring effective booking, forecasting, planning, billing, and up-selling of resort products and services.

Essential Functions

  • Effectively co-ordinate all group and wedding business, working on own dedicated events and supporting other team members with their assigned events.
  • Liaise with the sales and group sales departments ensuring efficient transition for each contracted event.
  • Manage clients through the planning stages, take responsibility of all payment deadlines.
  • Present detailed documentation to support the operational departments with execution.
  • Ensure final invoice payment is collected and future event secured prior to departure.
  • Ensure high levels of system accuracy including but not limited to booking details, group accommodation, banqueting and golf/spa/leisure forecasting, bedroom room type balancing, rate code building and modifying, business block notes and activities.
