An exciting opportunity for a permanent Pastry Chef de Partie has arisen in our kitchen brigade at Trump Turnberry. The successful candidate will work with the senior chef team to create a professional, safe and positive working environment to allow the junior chefs to learn and develop their skills. With the support of the Head of Pastry and Executive Chef, you are required to assist in managing the pastry team, driving service and producing an exceptional quality of food at all times. You will be given the opportunity to develop your pastry and baking skills, encouraged to bring your ideas to the kitchen, and to work with the best of ingredients.

Job Functions

  • To work as part of the kitchen team, communicating well with others to ensure a smooth service of food, to provide support to others if under pressure and to ask for help if it is required to meet our service standards.
  • To have a complete understanding of all menus within your area of responsibility, to have copies of all relevant menus ensuring that recipes are followed accurately, portion control is adhered to, and that presentation specifications are in place.
  • To oversee and control the quality of the junior chefs' work ensuring a high standard of food is served to the customer at all times.
  • To compile order requests from the various sections and add them to the market list.
