Chef de Partie assists the Head Chef in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest quality, hygiene and service standards are met and maintained at all times in line with our guests' expectations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head Chef with preparation of hot and cold food for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner service
  • Running sections of the kitchen during service
  • Ensuring a consistently high level of food service at all times through knowledge of menu items and awareness of commodities used, preparation methods and cooking
  • Assisting as necessary with stock control and identifying methods for improving food service
  • Ensuring kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned and relevant health and hygiene procedures are followed at all times

Key Criteria and Skills Required:

  • Experience of working in a similar role within a high quality establishment and ability to produce quality food to the highest standard
  • Ability to run and maintain own food section
  • Current certificate in Basic Food Preparation, Health and Hygiene or similar
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driven with a passion for food and quality produce
  • Creative with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment and maintain a consistently high standard
