An Assembly Operator(s) is required for a World Leading Engineering Company based in the UK. Job: Assembly Operator Location: Bath Salary: £15.41 p/h (plus 30% shift allowance) Shifts: Double Day Shift (Early Shift – Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm, Friday 6am-1.30pm) (Late Shift – Monday to Wednesday 2pm-12am, Thursday 2pm-11pm) Duration: Our client has a need for one Assembly Operator on a 12 month contract and a second Assembly Operator on a 6 month+ contract, which could run until the end of the year. As the successful Assembly Operator you will have the following knowledge and experience:- * Proven experience in a "hands on" precision assembly or mechanical fitting environment. * Strong team-working ethic, with the drive and flexibility to maintain pace of work as priorities and requirements change. * Strong multi-tasking abilities. * Ability to work on own initiative & manage time effectively. * Willingness to learn new skills to be a part of a multidiscipline team. * High attention to detail. * High level of conscientiousness. * 5S mind set maintaining hand tools and working environment to a high standard. * Familiar with IT basics, Microsoft office and operating system. * Comfortable with basic mathematical equations. * The ability to obtain UK Security Clearance. * Previous experience with transmission assembly, repair or overhaul would be beneficial.
